This time of year is a great time to take pictures of your loved ones and the holiday foods we enjoy with family and friends. Each year, we post and share our favorite Thanksgiving pictures.

Once a year we go a little Food Photography nuts by sharing our favorite Thanksgiving moments.

Food photography can be a blast — and a challenge. It makes us focus on close subjects and watch our white balance really carefully. It’s easy to just shoot food “straight on”, but food always looks great when shot at an angle, and with lots of color!

Also, share those thanksgiving family portraits! Bonus points for a portrait of your Uncle Bob asleep on the couch next to the grandkids.
