Photowalk: Texas Prison Museum of Texas + HEARTS Veteran Museum of Texas
July 9 @ 12:39 pm - 3:39 pm
Huntsville has two really interesting (and air conditioned) museums right next to each other. The Texas Prison Museum offers an insight to all things incarceration and criminal. And the H.E.A.R.T.S. Veterans Museum has a building full of interesting military history.
We’ll start the day with a lunch in Huntsville, then travel down to the Prison Museum. When you’re done at the Prison Museum, we can either drive or walk over to the Veterans Museum.
REMINDER, be on time. I will pay our tickets and we will all go in at once. If you arrive late, I won’t be able to come back out to retrieve you and then pay to get back in again. If you arrive late, you are welcome to pay at the counter so you can get in. BETTER YET! Join us for our lunch meetup, we will leave lunch and go to the museum all at once!
491 Hwy 75 N, Huntsville, TX 77320
H.E.A.R.T.S. Veterans Museum:
463 State Highway 75 N. Huntsville TX 77320
Both museums welcome us to use our cameras, but tripods may or may not be allowed based on how many people are in the building while we visit. As with many/most museums, go easy on the flash photography or they will ask everyone to stop entirely.
