The best time to photograph downtown at night is with a group of friends!  Last weekend’s small group photowalk in Downtown was a blast.  This time, we’ll tour Main Street from Commerce down to Bombay Pizza … at night!  This is a wonderful chance to practice both your Architectural and Low-Light photography.

** WARNING: VERY LATE NOTICE **

Let’s take award-winning photographer Thamer Al-Hassan for a tour of Downtown Houston!  He’s only going to be in town a few more nights, so we are posting this with very little notice.

ABOUT THE PHOTOWALK

Start by looking at the official map (you should probably print it): https://bit.ly/1fJkqBA

We will park our cars in a convenient location downtown and riding the Metro Rail to the meetup spot.  From there, we photowalk together going SOUTH on Main Street.  Eventually, we will arrive at Bombay Pizza Company and sit for a dinner and drink.

After that, we walk back to our cars.

DETAILED VERSION OF THE DETAILS

1) Park your car in one of the spots at Main street and Bell (parking lot is not free, but takes credit cards)

2) Take the metro rail NORTH (aprox $2 for a ticket)

3) Get off at Preston Station (about 5 minute ride)

4) Meet at the corner of Main Street and Commerce Street

5) We Photowalk SOUTH along Main Street

6) Have dinner at Bombay Pizza Company (around 9pm)

7) Walk SOUTH on Main Street to our cars and go home.
