I rented El Gato Coffee Shop for a private event for HoustonPhotowalks. We secured permission for 10 photographers to come and photograph their resident kitties!

The El Gato Charity is a foster home for 14-20 cats. They also operate as a coffee house to help fund the care of these beautiful social creatures. El Gato provides a safe and comfortable home so the kitties can eventually be adopted into their forever homes.

We will have fun playing and photographing up to 20 cats. Posting our pictures online will help raise awareness for the charity and spread the word about these beautiful animals that need new homes.

The coffee shop will be closed because we will be there after hours for our private event.

I highly encourage you to bring a few dollars to “tip” or “donate” to the charity when you arrive, every dollar helps!
