Happening online

After a very successful recent Movie Night zoom meetup, we decided to have another. I selected 6 YouTube videos (about 45 minutes total) about the photography and image editing techniques of Ansel Adams. The videos include a walkthrough of his studio and darkroom, how Photoshop techniques we use today are impacted by master darkroom techniques, and a discussion about some of Ansel Adams’ more influential works.

We will start the event with some hellos and seeing how everyone is doing. Make sure and have your favorite drink and some popcorn. After we watch the videos, we can sit back and discuss what we watched, or other subjects that might come up.

Notes:

Have a question? Check the FAQ first, and then privately contact the organizer. The FAQ: https://houstonphotowalks.com/faq/#online

We will use the latest and most secure version of Zoom. To make sure you are ready for the event, please test: https://zoom.us/test

To prevent unwanted strangers from joining the event causing problems, the link will only be sent through meetup email. To make sure you are receiving organizer messages from this group, please the information in our FAQ.

Please contact the organizer if you have not received the link BEFORE 1 hour prior to the event. In consideration for the event participants and the organizer who is preparing for class, we will not be able to reply to comments/questions/emails received less than 1 hour prior to the zoom meeting.

(Sorry folks, too many people complain about having to pause the class repeatedly when other people wait 10 minutes after class to try to log in.)
