It’s that time of year again! When it gets too hot to photowalk, we enjoy our yearly Busted Photo Repair contest!

Let’s practice turning GARBAGE into visual ART!! Each year, we toss out a few of Joe’s terrible photography and challenge YOU to fix them!

The photographer that turns one of these disasters into a winning work of art gets $30 in Amazon happiness!

Contest runs from NOW UNTIL JULY 1st.

• You can start editing and posting images TODAY
• Post your entry to this meetup’s photo album.
• Edit and post as many of the busted images as you want. Just one edit per busted photo please.
• Your edits belong to you. Feel free to post them elsewhere or print them for your wall at home (if you participate in this contest by posting the images on meetup first).
• Go nuts. Any editing technique is allowed. Photoshop, Lightroom, phone apps, MSPaint.exe, etc. It’s all allowed.
• If you sign up, post at least one edited image.

Charles Putnam

Originally from Southern California, my interest in photography first started with a Minolta SRT-101 (back then, we used this stuff called "film").I quickly realized that photography was something he really enjoyed.

I began to expand my understanding of the photographic process during my college days at Pierce College.

With the move to digital photography, the challenge is to keep up to date with the latest tools, techniques and software.

My day job is Manager, Corporate Risk and Insurance at Methodist Hospital where I've been since June of 2007.
