Class: Updating Your Digital Darkroom
July 31 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
With the recent announcement of Windows 11 coming later this year, and Apple going into their second year of transitioning from Intel processors to their own Apple Silicon, we thought this would be a good time to give an overview of what changes are coming, how to make wise choices when it comes to selecting the right computer, how RAM you really need, how discrete GPU’s factor in, which monitors are more color accurate – essentiality what to look for to run Lightroom/Photoshop and other photo and/or video editing applications smoothly, and to avoid ‘buyers remorse’.
We’ll also cover some of the new features coming in both Windows 11 and macOS Monterey. No – this won’t be a Mac vs. PC discussion (well…not too much anyway). :). [yes – I’m actually impressed with some of the changes Microsoft is doing with Windows 11]
Yes – this sounds like geek-speak, but we’ll try and simplify it for you.
