Class: Color Management in Digital Photography (free WB tool included!)
November 1 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
It’s time to improve your photography by avoiding the AWB (Auto White Balance) and harness the power of CUSTOM White Balance Settings!
I will be sending you a FREE WHITE BALANCE LENS CAP tool, and the class will discuss how to use it. These custom white balance tools are available on Amazon for about $10 https://amzn.to/2TgqteF
Everyone who requests a copy will receive my White Balance ebook for further reading and reference.
Photos are sometimes too “orange” or too “blue”. This color mistake is often caused by selecting the wrong white balance setting. It can also be caused by using Auto White Balance and the camera getting it incorrect. We use the camera’s “White Balance” settings to compensate for the off-color ambient lighting. And in some cases, we use “customized” white balance settings for a unique look.
We will discuss the White Balance camera settings, why you should avoid the “Auto” setting, and discuss several white balance methods and devices you can use to improve your photography.
We will also discuss how ambient colors can affect your brain’s perception of images, leading us to make mistakes when we are editing our photos.
We will go through the built-in white balance settings on your camera, which ones to use (and when) and which ones to avoid at all costs. We will also discuss color targets and how to add them to your workflow.
We will dive deeper into how to use custom white balance settings with a special lens cap — each student will receive one they can take home and start using in their everyday photography.
Join us for this fun and informative class. It should last about 2 hours + questions.
