Buffalo Bayou Cistern Illuminated Tour

“Cistern Illuminated is a new winter lighting experience created for the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. This special installation provides a unique perspective on this cavernous underground space, amplifying its 221 columns and seemingly-infinite reflection*. Cistern Illuminated* is designed by Houston artist and engineer Kelly O’Brien of Fenris.”
Prepare for a colorful show! I have booked a one hour illuminated tour of the Buffalo Bayou Cistern .
Cost $23.00
Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022
1:30 pm Arrive to check-in.
2:00 pm Enter the Cistern. We will be in the Cistern for 1 hour (15 minutes on each side).
Bring a tripod and wide angle lens (or a fisheye lens for something different;-) )
Parking is on the street or at Fonde Community Center so you should get there even earlier than 1:30 as parking can be hard.
