Photowalk: Breakfast and Bricks near Downtown Houston

After we have breakfast at Toasters, we will walk around the corner and capture the morning light on some of Houston's oldest buildings. Jesse H. Jones Park has invited Houston Photowalks to participate in their annual photo contest.....which ends on May 1st. Jesse H. Jones Park offers a number of hiking trails and and photo opportunities. The proposed walk is to first take the Cypress Boardwalk Trail to the first (large) pond, then walk back and go up to the Turtle Pond. *NOTE: Some folks saw the fantastic images from our last overnight at this abandoned hospital and asked if we could do it again. LIMITED TO 20 PEOPLE THIS TIME!! Yorktown Memorial Hospital was abandoned in the 1980's. Since then, it has been a spooky example of what happens to buildings when humans are no longer around. This event is for people that would like to tour the Abandoned Yorktown Memorial Hospital during daylight hours. The tour guide will be doing a special daytime tour of about 2 hours. *Note, if you signed up for the Overnight Light Painting Workshop, this is *NOT* included with the overnight event.
